Semi-automatic machine for assembling shaver heads – TG series HMI panel and DS2 series servo
Today, we present our own assembly device, in which we used Xinje components. In the device for assembling razor heads, we used the following Xinje solutions: DS2 series servo motor and servo driver, and TG series HMI panel.
Principle of operation of the semi-automatic assembly machine
The device allows for automatic assembly of a steel plate and a spring-loaded button in a plastic head. The operator inserts the head into the assembly socket, after which the plate and button are automatically assembled. The rotating parts are located on a table rotated by a Xinje servo drive. The parameters of the device and the production process are displayed on a 7-inch TG Xinje series operator panel.

Key features of the solution:
- automatic assembly of shaver head components,
- precise positioning of parts on the rotary table thanks to the Xinje servo drive,
- visualisation of key parameters with CSV file recording on the Xinje panel,
- visual inspection of assembled components.

Xinje components used in the project
Thanks to the use of Xinje products in the PTC ‘Shaver’ device, the device operates stably and repetitively. The DS2 series servo drive is responsible for the accurate positioning of parts for precise operations such as: plate insertion, spring button pressing, and visual inspection.
The TG series HMI panel allows for convenient visualisation of all relevant parameters of the assembly process. Additionally, it provides the ability to save production parameters to an external medium in a convenient .csv format. The use of scripts on the HMI panel has allowed for advanced visualisation functionality: displaying process alarms, calculating production efficiency, cycle time, automatically calling up variable saves to a spreadsheet, etc.

The Xinje DS2 series servo amplifier, thanks to its simple configuration using 4 buttons, communicates with the servo drive and allows it to operate efficiently, as well as providing an interface between the motor and the PLC controller. The DS2 series has the ability to configure input/output signals, which makes it possible to read selected servo drive parameters and send appropriate signals to it.
